Every child is welcomed, valued and supported to learn, play and bloom at their own pace.
Bumble & Bloom is an inclusive setting. We believe that children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) deserve the same warm, joyful and enriching experiences as every other child. We work closely with families and professionals to make sure each child gets the right support from day one.
We observe each child carefully using the EYFS framework and track their progress through ongoing assessments. If we notice a child is not making expected progress, we will talk with you sensitively and agree the next steps together.
We create individual play plans, adapt activities and resources, and make reasonable adjustments so every child can join in. This might include focused support during key routines, sensory play, communication aids or targeted next steps to build confidence and skills.
Parents are the experts on their own children. We hold regular meetings, share observations and listen to your insights. With your consent, we also work with speech and language therapists, health visitors, the local authority SEND team and other specialists.
Support plans are reviewed at least every term and updated more often if needed. We celebrate every step forward, however small, and adjust our strategies so provision continues to meet your child's changing needs.
Staff keep their knowledge up to date through SEND and inclusive practice training. We follow the SEND Code of Practice and the EYFS framework so that our care remains high quality, fair and respectful.
