Children have a voice in our day. We vote on stories, songs or activities and take turns deciding group games. Every child learns that their opinion matters and that decisions are made fairly together.

British values are not taught as separate lessons here — they live in our everyday routines, conversations and the way we treat one another.
The rule of law
Simple, consistent boundaries help everyone feel safe. We explain why rules exist — to keep us safe, kind and fair — and help children understand that choices have consequences in a gentle, age-appropriate way.
Individual liberty
We encourage children to be themselves. Through child-led play they make safe choices, express likes and dislikes, and grow in confidence and independence at their own pace.
Mutual respect and tolerance
Kindness is at the heart of our setting. We celebrate differences, share stories and traditions from many cultures and backgrounds, and teach children to value every person they meet.
